Meghan’s participation in the “Madaya Mom” project was honored by a top women’s media organization.
2016 Digital Media Finalist: National Association of Black Journalists
A feature that Meghan wrote about a community’s ability to unite and rebuild in the wake of Hurricane Katrina was nominated for a NABJ award. That feature, titled “Turkey Creek: Surviving the Storm,” also included an original digital video which can be viewed here.
Edward R. Murrow Award: The Radio and Television Digital News Association
In both 2015 and 2016, Meghan was part of the team at ABC News that won the Edward R. Murrow Award for Overall Excellence in Television and Radio.
